This set is a collaboration between Paste n’ Paper and Distinctive Woodworking. Each of their beautiful and colourful pens will make a perfect companion to your journal selection.
The journal is handbound in a Coptic stitch that allows the journal to open and lay perfectly flat for ease of use. The cover is wrapped in hand silkscreened Chiyogami paper from Japan in a peaceful repetitive floral pattern.
The body of this journal is made of 160 pages / 80 sheets of super smooth, lined white Clairefontaine paper. The Triomphe paper is designed for use with fountain pens, so despite it’s weight there is no bleed through onto the other side.
Each one of these pens is a colourful resin combined with quality pen components. If you look carefully, you’ll see some of your selection choices could be a fountain pen with a pinecone embedded in it: perfect for that extra dash of colour and texture. Jonathan of Distinctive Woodworking can change the pen to be either a fountain or rollerball, just select your preference.

Artisan Papers: We use a variety of different papers in our work. Many of them are handmade in different regions of the world. Each sheet of paper is made like a piece of art, and carries with it generations of papermaking knowledge. Find out more about our artisan papers here.
Cardstock: Our cardstocks are all light-weight and acid-free. We use a variety of textures, but mostly smooth for use in our journals.
Journal Pages: Our default paper for journals is Canson Universal Sketch paper. It's best for dry media like pencil, pens, and charcoal. It's natural white, acid-free, has excellent erasability and is smudge resistant. Other specialty papers are sometimes used, and are detailed in the item description.
