Beach Vacation French Tray Box
This special style of box is a modified clamshell box sometimes called a french tray box. It has open sides all the way down which makes it easy to get that piece of paper resting against the very bottom.
This box is wrapped in a blue and gold silkscreened Chiyogami paper with a palm leaf design. The inside of the top and bottom are lined with a gold paper. It's the exact size to hold standard 3"x3" Post-It notes.
All of our boxes are made from thick book board and glued with strong PVA glue. The spine is wrapped in blue rayon bookcloth to ensure that the hinge can withstand countless uses.

Paper Details
Artisan Papers: We use a variety of different papers in our work. Many of them are handmade in different regions of the world. Each sheet of paper is made like a piece of art, and carries with it generations of papermaking knowledge. Find out more about our artisan papers here.
Cardstock: Our cardstocks are all light-weight and acid-free. We use a variety of textures, but mostly smooth for use in our journals.
Journal Pages: Our default paper for journals is Canson Universal Sketch paper. It's best for dry media like pencil, pens, and charcoal. It's natural white, acid-free, has excellent erasability and is smudge resistant. Other specialty papers are sometimes used, and are detailed in the item description.
