Forest Flowers Hard Spine Journal

This journal is handmade using a case bound technique that completely wraps the spine with a hard board and hides the stitching. The cover is wrapped in Chiyogami paper with a green, white, and silver botanical print. The endpapers are a made from heavyweight, shimmery grey paper.

It contains 240 pages / 120 sheets of unlined white writing paper with a laid finish. This specialty paper is from G. Lalo in Paris and is designed for use with fountain pens and has a beautiful, subtle texture.

Artisan Papers: We use a variety of different papers in our work. Many of them are handmade in different regions of the world. Each sheet of paper is made like a piece of art, and carries with it generations of papermaking knowledge. Find out more about our artisan papers here.

Cardstock: Our cardstocks are all light-weight and acid-free. We use a variety of textures, but mostly smooth for use in our journals.

Journal Pages: Our default paper for journals is Canson Universal Sketch paper. It's best for dry media like pencil, pens, and charcoal. It's natural white, acid-free, has excellent erasability and is smudge resistant. Other specialty papers are sometimes used, and are detailed in the item description.
