Red Lacquered Yuzen Journal

This journal is handbound using unwaxed red cotton thread in a Coptic stitch. The cover is wrapped in black and red lacquered Yuzen paper with a basket weave design and has black endpapers. The Yuzen has a raised texture that comes from the hand-silkscreened process.

The journal contains 112 pages / 56 sheets of unlined white writing paper. The pages are separated into 7 groups of 8 sheets, bound between two black sheets.

This binding method allows this book to open and lay perfectly flat for ease of use.
