Custom Coptic Journal - Choice of Pages

These journals are customized to your exact specifications, letting you get the journal that is perfect for your needs.

They are handbound using matching waxed thread in a Coptic stitch. The cover is wrapped in one of our handmade artisan papers and the endpapers are a complimentary, solid color paper.

The body of these journals are made of 160 pages / 80 sheets of your choice pages made from white, acid-free sketchbook paper. If you'd like a different paper, like watercolor paper, please contact us before ordering.

All pages are printed in house. You can choose from unlined/blank, lined, dot grid, graph, or specialty pages. We do dated, undated, and teacher planners as well as reading trackers.

Optional elastic straps are matched from what's in stock depending on the cover paper chosen. Bookplates are printed blank unless a name is added to the note section of the order. They are also printed directly onto the endpaper. Cotton ribbon bookmarks are matched from available stock. Envelopes can also be added, made from a complimentary cardstock and stitched directly into the binding. You can also add personalization to the front of your journal by including the text you'd like added in the production notes section. Text will be added in gold to the outside of the cover.

This binding method allows the books to open and lay perfectly flat for ease of use.

Artisan Papers: We use a variety of different papers in our work. Many of them are handmade in different regions of the world. Each sheet of paper is made like a piece of art, and carries with it generations of papermaking knowledge. Find out more about our artisan papers here.

Cardstock: Our cardstocks are all light-weight and acid-free. We use a variety of textures, but mostly smooth for use in our journals.

Journal Pages: Our default paper for journals is Canson Universal Sketch paper. It's best for dry media like pencil, pens, and charcoal. It's natural white, acid-free, has excellent erasability and is smudge resistant. Other specialty papers are sometimes used, and are detailed in the item description.
