These reusable journal covers were designed for those of us who have a hard time using our beautiful stationery items. Now you don't have to worry about messed up pages or running out of room. Simply swap out the journal insert and keep going with your new pages. This is the ultimate in customizable and reusable stationery.
Covers are wrapped in one of our artisan papers. The endpapers are a thick cardstock, with a band placed close to the spine to hold the journal insert in place. The spine is made from durable rayon or cotton bookcloth to ensure it can withstand everyday use. The color for both will be selected from available stock to best match the cover paper. If you have preferences, please indicate them in the notes section of your order.
An elastic is attached to the back cover and used to keep the journal closed and protect the pages inside. Color is selected from current inventory to match and compliment the selected cover paper.
Four sizes are offered for our covers: Standard, Small, Large, and A5. Standard, small, and large covers can be used with our journal inserts. A5 covers can be used with many commercial journals or planners of size A5 such Hobonichi or Midori.

Paper Details
Artisan Papers: We use a variety of different papers in our work. Many of them are handmade in different regions of the world. Each sheet of paper is made like a piece of art, and carries with it generations of papermaking knowledge. Find out more about our artisan papers here.
Cardstock: Our cardstocks are all light-weight and acid-free. We use a variety of textures, but mostly smooth for use in our journals.
Journal Pages: Our default paper for journals is Canson Universal Sketch paper. It's best for dry media like pencil, pens, and charcoal. It's natural white, acid-free, has excellent erasability and is smudge resistant. Other specialty papers are sometimes used, and are detailed in the item description.
