This journal comes in two options: a reusable journal cover with insert or a coptic stitched journal with wrapped sections creating a gradient spine.
The reusable cover is wrapped in a durable, black rayon bookcloth. The endpapers are a thick red cardstock, with a band placed close to the spine to hold the journal insert in place. A black elastic is attached to the back cover and used to keep the journal closed and protect the pages inside.
The coptic journal cover is wrapped in a black lokta paper. The endpapers are a thick metallic red paper. The pages are separated into 10 groups of 8 sheets, bound inside a red, orange, or yellow colored sheet.
Both journals come with a design from the Supergiant game Hades appliqued on both the front and the back.
The pages can be made in your choice of blank, lined, .5cm dot grid, or graph on acid-free sketchbook paper. The pages are bound together using a Coptic stitch. This binding method allows the pages to open and lay perfectly flat for ease of use. The stitching is exposed along the spine.

Artisan Papers: We use a variety of different papers in our work. Many of them are handmade in different regions of the world. Each sheet of paper is made like a piece of art, and carries with it generations of papermaking knowledge. Find out more about our artisan papers here.
Cardstock: Our cardstocks are all light-weight and acid-free. We use a variety of textures, but mostly smooth for use in our journals.
Journal Pages: Our default paper for journals is Canson Universal Sketch paper. It's best for dry media like pencil, pens, and charcoal. It's natural white, acid-free, has excellent erasability and is smudge resistant. Other specialty papers are sometimes used, and are detailed in the item description.
